The King's Academy is a small, private Christian school located in Richmond, Texas. We offer a full time academic program, as well as supplemental classes and enrichment opportunities for the home school community. We are located on the property of the Kingsbrook Baptist Church, half-way between Katy and Sugarland, Texas. Our Bible based curriculum is grounded in the forty+ year proven track record of the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) PACES format for individualized learning.
Our educational approach addresses each child's spiritual, emotional, intellectual and physical needs.
Spiritually : Students grow in their walk with the Lord, through the use of Bible based curriculum, chapel and through the Christian witness and testimony of the teachers and staff.
Emotionally: Our positive and focused character training encourages students to succeed.
Intellectually: Stimulating curriculum and enrichment programs offer wonderful opportunities to learn. We integrate a Biblical worldview into every area of study and discussion. From the "extremely gifted" to the "struggling learner", our individualized format allows each one to thrive.
Physically: We place a strong emphasis on exercise and nutrition. Students participate in organized sports, P.E. programs and even maintain a school vegetable garden. Our school sits on 5 acres of land, which provides plenty of room for students to run, play and enjoy fresh air and sunshine!

We recognize that each child learns differently. In addition to our core curriculum, we use jingles, songs, and rhythms for kinesthetic learners, memory work via Shurley Grammar, TATRAS Vertical phonics which is multisensory, and also various PC tutorials for math, reading and typing.
