Garden Pests : Friend or Foe?

The King's Academy students enjoyed hearing from
local Master Gardener, Joe Vincon, who discussed common garden insects and their effects (positive and negative) on vegetable gardens.
We also learned about organic methods of pest control and integrated pest management techniques. The kids asked alot of wonderful questions and especially enjoyed seeing Joe's collection of butterflies and insects. We definately have some future gardeners and entomologists in this group of kids!
